Herts Advertiser Football League

The Herts Advertiser Football League is an amateur football league in Hertfordshire, England. It was founded in 1920 and currently has over 100 teams competing in a variety of divisions.

History

The Herts Advertiser Football League was founded in 1920 by the Herts Advertiser newspaper. The original competition consisted of just 10 teams, but it has since grown to become one of the largest amateur football leagues in the country.

The league has been through a number of changes over the years, but it has always maintained its commitment to providing high-quality football for amateur players. In recent years, the league has introduced a number of new initiatives to improve the standard of play, including the introduction of a referee development program and a new disciplinary code.

Divisions

The Herts Advertiser Football League currently has over 100 teams competing in a variety of divisions. The top division is the Premier Division, which is followed by the Division One, Division Two, Division Three, and Division Four. There are also a number of cup competitions, including the Herts Advertiser Cup, the Herts Advertiser Trophy, and the Herts Advertiser Challenge Cup.
