2023 - 1 Teams across 1 Divisions
The Halewood Summer League 2023 brought together youth football teams across various age groups, offering competitive opportunities for young players to develop their skills during the summer months. The league featured 105 participating teams competing in different divisions from U6 through to older youth categories. While recent results for the youngest divisions weren't available at season's end, the structure provided valuable playing time when many traditional leagues take their breaks.
Teams like Runcorn Linnets FC U13 Blue, Halewood Town JSA U13 Lions, and Marshalls U13 were among the competitors in the U13 division, with all three accumulating 21 points during their campaign. The league organized fixtures systematically, with clear scheduling for matches and appropriate winter breaks planned for different age groups.
In the U7 fun division, teams such as ESC Inter U7s, FGS Bayern U7s, and FGS Dortmund U7s participated, emphasizing the development-focused approach for younger players. The summer format provides an excellent opportunity for continuous player growth during what would typically be the off-season for many youth football organizations.
