The Glasgow & District Saturday Morning League (GMSML) is an amateur football league in Glasgow, Scotland. It was founded in 1922 and is currently the largest amateur football league in Scotland, with over 400 teams competing in it.
The GMSML is divided into a number of divisions, based on the level of ability of the teams. The top division is the Premier Division, and the bottom division is the 10th Division. There is also a cup competition, the GMSML Cup, which is open to all teams in the league.
The GMSML was founded in 1922 by a group of football enthusiasts in Glasgow. The league was originally called the Glasgow Saturday Morning League, but it was renamed the Glasgow & District Saturday Morning League in 1962.
The GMSML has grown steadily over the years, and it is now the largest amateur football league in Scotland. The league currently has over 400 teams competing in it, and it is estimated that over 10,000 people play football in the GMSML each season.
