GFA - Super Vets (50+ 7-a-side)

Introduction

The GFA - Super Vets (50+ 7-a-side) is an amateur football league for players aged 50 and over. It is run by the Guernsey Football Association (GFA) and is open to teams from all over the island.

The league was founded in 2015 and currently consists of 10 teams. The season runs from September to May, with each team playing each other once. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the GFA - Vets (45+ 7-a-side) league.

The GFA - Super Vets (50+ 7-a-side) is a great way for players of all abilities to keep fit and enjoy the game of football. The league is also a great opportunity to meet new people and make friends.

Rules

• The game is played on a full-size football pitch.
• There are 7 players per team, with no substitutes.
• The game is played over two halves of 25 minutes each.
• There is no offside rule.
• The ball must be touched by a player from each team before it can be passed back to the goalkeeper.
