Fort Regent Amateur Football League

The Fort Regent Amateur Football League is an amateur football league based in Jersey. It was founded in 1921 and currently has over 50 teams competing in its various divisions.

History

The Fort Regent Amateur Football League was founded in 1921 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league's first season consisted of just four teams, but it has since grown to become one of the largest amateur football leagues in Jersey.

The league has been home to some of Jersey's most successful amateur football teams, including St. Peter's United, who have won the league championship a record 20 times.

Divisions

The Fort Regent Amateur Football League currently has six divisions: Premier Division, Division One, Division Two, Division Three, Division Four, and Division Five.

The Premier Division is the highest division in the league and is contested by the top teams in Jersey. The Division One is the second highest division, followed by Division Two, Division Three, Division Four, and Division Five.

Cup competitions

The Fort Regent Amateur Football League also organizes a number of cup competitions, including the league cup, the challenge cup, and the junior cup.

The league cup is the most prestigious cup competition in the league and is contested by all teams in the Premier Division and Division One. The challenge cup is contested by teams in the Premier Division, Division One, and Division Two. The junior cup is contested by teams in Division Three, Division Four, and Division Five.
