The Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) is the governing body for high school sports in the state of Florida. It was founded in 1923 and is responsible for regulating and overseeing all aspects of high school athletics in Florida, including football.

The FHSAA amateur football league is open to all high school students in Florida who meet the eligibility requirements. The league is divided into three divisions: varsity, junior varsity, and freshmen.

The FHSAA amateur football season runs from August to November. The regular season consists of 10 games, followed by a playoff tournament.
