About Festival League

The Festival League is an amateur football league based in the United Kingdom. It is a Sunday league, which means that matches are played on Sundays rather than Saturdays. The league is open to all players, regardless of age or ability.

The Festival League was founded in 1970 by a group of friends who wanted to play football for fun. The league has since grown to become one of the largest amateur football leagues in the UK, with over 1,000 teams competing in it each season.

The Festival League is divided into a number of divisions, based on the level of ability of the teams. Each division has a regular season, followed by a playoff to determine the champions. The top teams from each division are promoted to the next division, while the bottom teams are relegated to the lower division.
