The Farnham & District Sunday Football League is an amateur football league based in Hampshire and Surrey. It was founded in 1962 and currently has 68 teams playing across 9 divisions.

History

The Farnham & District Sunday Football League was founded in 1962 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league started with just 10 teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has over 60 teams.

The league is affiliated to the Surrey County Football Association and is a member of the FA Charter Standard. This means that the league meets certain standards set by the FA, such as having qualified referees and providing safe playing facilities.

Divisions

The Farnham & District Sunday Football League has 9 divisions, each of which is played on a Sunday. The divisions are:

  • Premier Division
  • Division One
  • Division Two
  • Division Three
  • Division Four
  • Division Five
  • Division Six
  • Division Seven
  • Division Eight
  • Division Nine

The teams are promoted and relegated between divisions based on their results at the end of the season.
