Exeter University Intermural League- Division 1

The Exeter University Intermural League- Division 1 is an amateur football league for students at Exeter University. The league is divided into two divisions, with the top division being Division 1.

The league was founded in 1983 and currently has over 20 teams competing in it. The season runs from September to March, with each team playing each other once. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to Division 1, while the bottom two teams are relegated to Division 2.

The league is very competitive, with many of the teams having former professional players in their ranks. The standard of football is also very high, with some of the teams playing at a semi-professional level.
