About Eteläinen alue
Read more →Eteläinen alue is an amateur football league in Finland. It is one of the six regional leagues in the Kolmonen, the third tier of the Finnish football league system. The league consists of 12 teams from the southern parts of Finland.
Eteläinen alue was founded in 1973. The league has been won by a total of 14 different teams, with FC Viikingit being the most successful club with 10 titles.
The 2023 season of Eteläinen alue is currently underway. The top two teams at the end of the season will be promoted to the Kakkonen, the second tier of the Finnish football league system. The bottom two teams will be relegated to the Nelonen, the fourth tier of the Finnish football league system.
