About Essex County Women's Football League
Read more →The Essex County Women's Football League (ECWFL) is an amateur football league for women and girls in Essex, England. It is affiliated to the Football Association (FA) and is the highest level of women's football in the county.
The ECWFL was founded in 1989 and initially consisted of just four teams. It has since grown to become one of the largest women's football leagues in England, with over 60 teams competing in the league today.
