The Eastern Junior Alliance (EJA) is an amateur football league for boys and girls aged 7-18 in the South East of England.

The league was founded in 1972 and currently has over 200 member clubs. Teams are divided into age groups and divisions, and play a variety of competitions throughout the season.

The EJA is a member of the Football Association (FA) and is committed to providing high-quality football development opportunities for young players. The league also works closely with local schools and colleges to promote the benefits of playing football.

History

The Eastern Junior Alliance was founded in 1972 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league's first season had just 10 teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has over 200 member clubs.

The EJA has been a member of the Football Association since 1990. This means that the league's standards are regularly reviewed and monitored by the FA, ensuring that players receive the best possible football development opportunities.

The EJA runs a variety of competitions for boys and girls aged 7-18. These include:

The EJA also runs a number of development competitions for younger players, such as the EJA Junior League and the EJA Girls' Development League.
