The Dudley and Cradley Amateur Football League was founded in 1907 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league initially had just four teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has over 100 teams playing in its various divisions.
The league has seen some famous players over the years, including Ray Westwood, the uncle of the great Duncan Edwards. Westwood played for the league in the 1930s and 1940s and went on to have a successful career in non-league football.
