About Dorset Youth League Division One
Read more →The Dorset Youth League Division One is an amateur football league for under-16s teams in Dorset, England. It is the top division of the Dorset Youth Football League, and is currently sponsored by Stars Football Academy.
The league was founded in May 2001, and was formerly known as the Dorset Divisional Youth League. It is sanctioned by the Dorset County Football Association, and currently consists of 49 clubs and 222 teams.
The league season runs from September to May, and each team plays each other once in a round-robin format. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the Dorset Youth League Premier Division, and the bottom two teams are relegated to the Dorset Youth League Division Two.
