Read more →Division D is the lowest level of the Dutch football league system. It is a regional league, with each region having its own division. The number of teams in each division varies, but it is typically around 14 teams.
The teams in Division D are mostly amateur clubs, but there are also a few semi-professional clubs. The season runs from September to May, and each team plays each other team twice, once at home and once away.
The top two teams in each division are promoted to Division C, and the bottom two teams are relegated to Division E.
