Read more →Division 3 is an amateur football league in England. It is the third tier of the English football league system, below the Championship and above League Two.
The league was formed in 1992, when the Football League was restructured. It is currently sponsored by Vanarama.
There are 24 teams in Division 3, divided into two divisions of 12 teams each. The teams play each other home and away, with the top two teams in each division at the end of the season promoted to League Two. The bottom four teams in each division are relegated to the National League.
