About Devon Walking Football League
Devon Walking Football League
The Devon Walking Football League is an amateur football league for players aged 50 and over. It was founded in 2018 and currently has 20 teams competing in the Taking Care Devon Walking Football league.
The rules of walking football are similar to regular football, but with a few key differences. Players are not allowed to run, and must keep one foot on the ground at all times. The ball must also be passed within three seconds of receiving it.
The Devon Walking Football League has been growing rapidly in recent years, and is now one of the largest walking football leagues in the country. The league plays matches once a month throughout the footballing season, and a finals day is then run at the end of each season.
