About Derby City Football League
Read more →The Derby City Football League (DCPL) is an amateur football league based in Derby, England. It was founded in 1900 and currently has over 200 teams competing in a variety of divisions.
The DCPL is affiliated to the Derbyshire County Football Association (DCFA) and is a member of the National League System (NLS). The league's top division, the Premier Division, is at Step 7 of the NLS.
The DCPL season runs from August to May and each team plays 22 games. The top two teams in each division are promoted and the bottom two teams are relegated.
