About Competitie
Read more →The Competitie is an amateur football league in the Netherlands. It is the lowest level of the Dutch football league system, and is divided into 20 regional divisions.
The Competitie was founded in 1954, and currently has over 1,000 clubs participating. The top two teams from each division are promoted to the Eerste Klasse, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the Tweede Klasse.
The Competitie is a popular league for players who want to continue playing football after leaving school or college. It is also a good way for players to develop their skills and experience before moving on to higher levels of competition.
