Read more →The Chelmsford & District Churches Football League (C&DCFL) is an amateur football league based in Chelmsford, Essex, England. It was founded in 1974 and currently has 20 teams competing in three divisions.
The C&DCFL was founded in 1974 by a group of churches in the Chelmsford area. The league started with just four teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has 20 teams.
The C&DCFL is affiliated to the Football Association and its teams compete in the FA Vase competition. The league has also produced a number of players who have gone on to play professional football, including former England internationals Paul Konchesky and Luke Young.
