About Champions Leuge
Read more →The Champions Leuge is an amateur football league in the Netherlands. It is the highest level of amateur football in the country, and is contested by 20 teams.
The league was founded in 2010, and is currently sponsored by the Dutch lottery. The champions of the league are promoted to the Tweede Divisie, the third tier of professional football in the Netherlands.
The Champions Leuge is a round-robin league, with each team playing each other team twice, once home and once away. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the Tweede Divisie, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the Derde Divisie.
