The Cardiff & District Amateur Football League is an amateur football league in South Wales. It was founded in 1904 and currently has over 100 clubs affiliated to it. The league is divided into three divisions, with promotion and relegation between the divisions each season.
The Cardiff & District Amateur Football League was founded in 1904 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league initially had just four clubs, but it quickly grew in popularity and by the 1920s it had over 30 clubs affiliated to it. The league has continued to grow in the years since and it now has over 100 clubs affiliated to it.
The league has been home to some successful clubs over the years, including Cardiff City, who played in the league until they joined the Football League in 1920. Other successful clubs to have played in the league include Barry Town United, who won the Welsh Cup in 1977 and 1978, and Penarth Town, who won the Welsh Cup in 1988.
