BSFL Golden Anniversary Season 1970 - 2020

The BSFL Golden Anniversary Season 1970 - 2020 was a special season of the East Lancashire Football League, celebrating the league's 50th anniversary.

The season ran from August 2019 to May 2020, and featured 16 teams competing in three divisions. The winners of each division were:

• Longshaw FC (Division One)
• East Lancashire Wanderers FC (Division Two)
• Blackburn Rovers Old Boys FC (Division Three)

The season was also notable for the fact that it was the last season for the BSFL's Division Three. The league decided to restructure for the 2020-21 season, with only two divisions remaining.

The BSFL Golden Anniversary Season was a great success, and was celebrated with a number of events throughout the year. The season also helped to raise awareness of the league's 50th anniversary, and attracted a record number of spectators.
