About Bristol Saturday Youth League
Read more →The Bristol Saturday Youth League (BSYL) is a football league for boys and girls aged 5-16 in the Bristol area. It was founded in 1969 and currently has over 1,000 teams playing in its 30 leagues.
The BSYL is affiliated to the Football Association (FA) and its leagues are graded from Under-7 to Under-16. The top two leagues in each age group are Premier Divisions, and the teams in these leagues compete for the BSYL Cup at the end of the season.
The BSYL also runs a number of other competitions, including the BSYL Challenge Cup, the BSYL Plate, and the BSYL Vase. These competitions are open to teams in all age groups.
