Read more →The Bridgend League is an amateur football league covering the town of Bridgend and surrounding areas in South Wales. The leagues are at the eighth, ninth and tenth levels of the Welsh football league system.
The Bridgend League was founded in 1919. The original league consisted of just four teams: Bridgend Town, Bryncoch, Pentyrch and Sarn Athletic. The league has grown steadily over the years and now consists of over 30 teams.
The Bridgend League is a popular league with a strong tradition of local rivalry. The league is also known for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
