Read more →The Braintree & North Essex Sunday League is an amateur football league based in the Braintree district of Essex, England. It was founded in 1922 and currently has 45 teams competing in four divisions.
The league is affiliated to the Essex County Football Association and is a member of the Eastern Region Sunday Football League. The top two teams in the Premier Division are promoted to the Eastern Counties League at the end of each season, while the bottom two teams are relegated to Division One.
The 2022-23 season was won by Barnston Sunday, who finished the season with 90 points, 10 points clear of second-placed Witham Athletic. The other promoted team was CFC Shalford.
