Botola Pro

The Botola Pro is the top professional football league in Morocco. It is contested by 16 teams, and each team plays 30 matches during the season. The season runs from August to May.

The current champions are Raja Casablanca, who have won the title a record 18 times. Other successful teams in the Botola Pro include Wydad Casablanca, FAR Rabat, and AS FAR.

History

The Botola Pro was founded in 1956, shortly after Morocco gained independence from France. The first season was won by Wydad Casablanca.

The Botola Pro has been dominated by a few teams over the years. Raja Casablanca have won the title 18 times, followed by Wydad Casablanca with 12 titles. FAR Rabat have won the title 10 times, and AS FAR have won 6 times.
