About BAPL

The BAPL (Brampton Amateur Players League) is an amateur football league in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. It was founded in 1974 and currently has over 100 teams competing in a variety of divisions.

The BAPL is a non-profit organization that is run by volunteers. It is committed to providing a fun and challenging environment for players of all ages and skill levels.

The BAPL season runs from May to September. Games are played on weeknights and weekends at various locations in Brampton.

History of BAPL

The BAPL was founded in 1974 by a group of football enthusiasts who wanted to create a league for amateur players in Brampton. The league started with just a few teams, but it has since grown to become one of the largest amateur football leagues in Ontario.

The BAPL has a long history of success. In 1988, the BAPL Senior B team won the Ontario Provincial Championship. The BAPL has also produced several players who have gone on to play professional football, including former CFL players Mike O'Shea and John Avery.

The BAPL is committed to providing a fun and challenging environment for players of all ages and skill levels. The league offers a variety of divisions, so players can find a level that is right for them.
