It is affiliated to the Army Football Association (AFA) and is one of the 11 regional leagues in the AFA's UK-wide structure. The league currently consists of 10 teams, divided into two divisions.
The Army FA UK Scotland Football League was founded in 1920. The original competition consisted of just four teams, but it has since expanded to its current size.
