Amlwch 5 A Side

Amlwch 5 A Side is an amateur football league based in Amlwch, Anglesey, Wales. The league was founded in 2010 and currently has 10 teams competing in a single division. The games are played at Amlwch Leisure Centre on Monday evenings.

A new £130,000 state-of-the-art 3G sports pitch is set to open at Amlwch Leisure Centre in September 2023. The new pitch will replace the existing outdoor five-a-side pitch and Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) at the Leisure Centre. The project is being funded with a £75,000 grant from Sports Wales and a £55,000 contribution by Anglesey County Council.

The new pitch will be double the size of the current pitch and will be suitable for both football and rugby training. It will also be marked for walking football training and matches.
