ACT Churches Football - 8 Teams across 1 Divisions
The ACT Churches Football League (ACTFL) is an amateur football (soccer) league for churches in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). The league was founded in 1968 and currently has 12 teams competing in two divisions.
The ACTFL was founded in 1968 by a group of churches in Canberra who wanted to provide a way for Christians to get together and play football. The league started with just four teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has over 100 players.
The ACTFL is a very competitive league, with teams from all over the ACT competing for the championship. However, the league is also about more than just winning. It is a great way for Christians to get to know each other, build relationships, and have fun.
The ACTFL season runs from March to August. Each team plays each other team once during the regular season, with the top four teams at the end of the regular season competing in the finals.
