Read more →The 2015/2016 pre-season amateur football league was a season of mixed fortunes for the top teams.
Leicester City were the surprise package of the season, winning the Premier League title for the first time in their history. They had a strong pre-season, winning all of their friendlies.
In their first pre-season friendly, they beat League One side Sheffield United 3-0. They then went on to beat Championship sides Nottingham Forest and Derby County, as well as League Two side Wycombe Wanderers.
