Washington United Whites

The team was formed in january 2012 and has had 2 previous managers prior to the latest longing serving manager and coaches. We play in division 5 of the Russell Foster league and try to coach and play the right way by asking the kids to play good passing attractive football, using both feet, having respect for each other and their opponents and having fun and enjoying the game for what it is - Football!!! Winning is not everything for us but we are of an age now where the competiveness comes into play and we are starting to encourage that by challenging the lads to get promoted or win the division we are in this season and they are responding to that with consistency the only thing required. We have players of mixed ability and they all get at least 50% playing time. Some of our players could easily play at a higher level but remain here to play with friends, have fun and enjoy their game. We also have a good group of parents who help out and support our aims and in total we have 3 coaches in the team which is part of a charter standard club.
