Wreckingham FC 2 vs 5 BRIAN MUNICH

It was a even contest from the off with WFC arguably having the better of the first few minutes, the opposition were struggling to break through the WFC defence. WFC were very dangerous on the break with Josh and Ed leading the break outs supported by Billy, good interchanging positions, passing and movement. Ed was in on goal and taken down as the player went through the back to win the ball, penalty. Ed stepped up and converted to the bottom right corner, 1-0. It was soon 2-0 to WFC as Ed poked the ball past the keeper coming off his line from Billy's pass. As well as WFC had defended, they couldn't keep hold of the 2 goal lead for long with the opposition pulling one back within a couple of minutes. They then did equalise with a dubious decision which looked like a hand ball my the attacker to push it past Jay leaving him with an open goal, 2-2. From that point onwards there was only one winner with the opposition seeming to go up a gear after going behind. As WFC went in search of the winner the opposition picked them off to win 5-2. Some solid defending and good passing and movement in a rather dirty game with a few challenges flying in everywhere. A spirited performance against 2nd no shame in losing having given them a right good game.
