Wreckingham FC 3 vs 2 ABCDE FC

WFC had the usual squad of 6 players with an extra player with Mitch making his first appearance in a while, during the early stages of the game WFC were on the front foot adopting the 1-3-1 formation again and creating chances before taking a deserved 1-0 lead from Ed curling a shot right into the side netting. The opposition then hit back soon after to make it 1-1. Josh then charged down the keeper which resulted in the ball in the back of the net 2-1 WFC, the lead then slipped minutes after again with the man not being closed down quick enough. By the this point WFC had started to sit back and play on the counter and the opposition was having all the possesion, but Billy scored for WFC to take the lead for a 3rd time with a toe poke from close range. The pressure was mounting on WFC and the defence held firm with a wave of about 4 shots in an attack being kept out. Alfie was a rock with interceptions and blocks helped well by Billy with Ed, Josh and Mitch putting in good work in front of them. Bunn and Ed were always giving the team the oultet with a counter attack threat to take the pressure off.
