Winchburgh Albion 2015 Whi 1 vs 8 Syngenta Lions 2015

The whites faced their toughest challenge yesterday against a really good Syngenta Lions team.

Cullen captained the team and led the boys out in some challenging conditions with the rain becoming torrential at times. With no subs, we knew it was going to be a tough game.

Syngenta played some excellent football throughout showing that they were clearly an advanced team and scored some really good goals.

The whites were limited to only a few chances and only managed to convert one through Kacper from a corner.

Although we struggled to get a foothold in the game, the boys kept going to the final whistle.

Cullen made some excellent saves and was really tested in goal. Tom and Michael made some good tackles at the back. Kai competed well in midfield winning plenty of tackles. Noah worked hard up front against some pacy defenders. Kacper, who was called up from the Reds due to a shortage of players competed well on the left. Dexter cause the Syngenta defenders a few issues with his pace and was the referees man of the match.

I big learning curve for the whites today showing that there is a lot to work on to get the level we want to be at.

A week off and back to it after the break and we go again!
