WET!!!!!
A game that should not have been played at all with puddles all over the pitch and goal mouths! But with the opposition turned up and getting frustrated with the events, we decided to play the game!
Didn't get off to the best of starts AGAIN! A corner AGAIN, where we didn't clear the ball and everyone waited for someone else to clear! We didn't, and they scored after 90secs!!!!!!! Another very early goal.
But credit to the boys, they settled down and battled hard. Chances we limited for both sides due the dreadful pitch, but they chances we did make were only have chances.
The 2nd half was much the same. Great battling all over the park and again, the chances we made were not clear cut. Although we didn't really get the rub of the green.
We tried, but just could make the breakthrough and we started to chase the game but got caught on the break and the Deli Alli look-a-like powered through to score their 2nd.
Another pleasing, battling performance. We just need to take it to the next level and take our chances.
