Week 2 of the season and what a massive improvement in the level of football!

Watling came out of the blocks much better this week and were on the front foot early. Showing a lot more composure on the ball it wasn't long before Matt beat the left back and a good save from the Barton keeper was turned home by Adam for his first of the season.

Not long after Jack played a sublime ball over the Barton defence for Matt to fire home and open his account for the season. Shortly after a n incredible bit of skill by Matt led to him winning a penalty and he calmly added to his earlier goal.

A dominant first half by Watling was bettered by a second half which quite simply was a joy to watch. The boys had taken on board what they learnt on Tuesday and it was topped off by a ball from Matt to Sam which will be a contender for goal of the season!

A good 4-0 win for the boys and everyone was brilliant. Looking forward to our trip to Afc oakley next week.
