Sportsco U12 Saints 3 vs 0 Walsall Wood Snipers U12s

Snipers went into the last game of 2018 already at a disadvantage, missing Eric due to illness. Sportsco was unbeaten & looking to get a win to keep them in the running for the league. No body expected what happened today, as 8 man Snipers battled, fought, but more impressive, played some football when in possession. Sportsco got the win, with 2 sloppy first half goals & a 3rd midway through the 2nd half, but the effort the boys put in today was genuinely one of the best I’ve saw at this age group. Wezza stepped up to play in goal, had a fantastic game earning Motm. Save after save, good hands & an awesome 1 on 1 stop. Leo & Ryan Ran and ran, cutting out crosses & tried to support the attack when possible. Ben & Lewis Player cb, Played it out when needed but also, tried to retain possession & start attacks when they could. The 3 of Jay, Louie and Zak was always a threat. Outnumbered the whole game limiting clear cut chances but never gave in. Can’t wait to see what 2019 has in store for this group.
