Walsall Wood Snipers U12s 1 vs 5 Chasetown Youth U12 Colts

Snipers returned home for the first time in 2019 hopeful of taking the performances last week into today’s game, unfortunately this didn’t happen. Snipers today was simply outworked all over the pitch, Chasetown fully deserved the victory. The game started badly, with Chasetown taking the lead after 32 seconds, winning the ball off our own kick. Strong winds and a poor pitch caused our passing game was hampered, & 16 minutes in Chasetown doubled the lead, taking advantage of our defence being outnumbered. After numerous chances and warnings Colts struck again, 3-0 on 26 min, the boys just didn’t seem interested at this point

2nd began much brighter, playing better & creating more chances, with Louie finishing nicely to give us hope of a comeback. Colts soon played themselves back into the game,

Catching us out with sloppy defending for 4-1. Ryan G had a couple of chances which he couldn’t take, Finns free kick went over the bar, Louie had a couple of 1-1s but Snipers just couldn’t get the goal back.

Colts capitalised on is pushing forward and added a 5th late on.

Sometimes these games happen but can’t become regular. On to tough couple of fixtures to see the month out
