Wadhurst United Tigers 0 vs 8 Langton Green Falcons

An 8-0 defeat today, but in my opinion, with the help of new coach Alan a great result.

Langton being undefeated and top of the league were going to be very tough and I feared double digits.

The first half they pounded us with their great passing skills and relentless attacking, putting 6 in the net with George saving at least another 6 direct hits, and an unfortunate own goal from Ben O as he tried to chest the ball clear of the goal.

We reshaped the team, bringing Jack back from the front line and using his energy in CDM position. Moving Ollie up front with Hugo to utilise his ball skills and fire power.

Sam was brought on in Midfield with Brad/Jake and Noah falling seamlessly into this position showing some nice tackles and firing a couple at goal., one of which was on target. For this drive and determination Sam gets Man of the Match.

Great skills shown from Ben Bates with some lovely tackles on the left wing. Noah as always battling and winning the ball meant that we let only 1 more goal in in the second half, so much better play. Very proud of all the team in the second half, showing that we can be more confident and we can change the game.
