Luca FC 4 vs 6 Unique FC U9

Good Morning Boys,

What a fantastic performance Sunday was. I got to say, I was really proud with everything about us.

I want you boys to understand just how good that performance was, some of the things we were doing which I will outline below is ridiculous to be doing at your age.

- Possession

Boys there were times we were making 5+ passes in a row. Switching the play beautifully and creating chances at will. I haven't seen another u9 side be able to link passes like we did on Sunday. The way we were going from one side to the other was an absolute joy to watch.

- Shape

Throughout, I thought our shape was fantastic. In and out of possession. We were pressing really well and suffocating Luca. Oscar and Tate I thought you both were great at jumping onto their wingers.

- Dealing with Direct play

I've got to say, this is what I was most proud of. We done this Saturday and for you boys to pick this up so quickly shows how mature and bright the group is. Tate and Oscar your body shapes were spot on and you did not let the ball bounce once. Wingers, I saw us dropping when the body language of the keeper showed he was going to kick. Sidney/Ted, both of you were picking up 2nds well.

Tate - That could be your best performance in a Unique top. I thought you were outstanding.

Sidney - I thought you linked brilliantly, beat players well and deserved your hat-trick.

Teddy - Incredible work rate Sunday and thought you were brilliant in possession also. Strong performance.
