Unique FC U9 3 vs 3 Junior Elite Blues

Overall, I thought it was a good draw Sunday with the circumstances.

My thoughts on the day were it was a real transitional game with neither team getting control of the game and Junior Elite having slightly better chances. Having watched it back, the game was exactly that.

We didn't have enough control of the game. We were constantly trying to go forward so quickly and so were they. It was one team attacks losing it, then the other team having a go. That suited their players more than ours.

It would've been nice to see us link a few more passes together, at times we did get a few passes in a row but not enough for my liking.

I feel their shape, 3-1-2 lead to the game being this way. It was man for man all over pitch. I felt majority of us didn't work hard enough to get onto the ball. Little late sharp movements to get loose and be brave was what this game needed for more control.

Saying all that, with only 7 players on Sunday, I was proud of our character and fight all the way through the game.

Cater, I thought again you were outstanding Sunday. Well done!
