Tolbooth's first home game of the season ended in defeat to BSFC. Tolbooth started superbly and raced into a 2 goal lead. Sean Keith's perfectly struck corner was headed home by Booth at the back post. Shand then opened his account for the season with a close range header after a another delivery from Sean Keith. The game turned on its head when BSFC were awarded a soft penalty and Scott Keith was shown a red card on the 30th minute. Chapman guessed correctly but couldn't keep out the strike from 12 yards. Score at half-time 2-1.

Into the second half and the away side started to make the most of the man advantage playing some good passing football and looking dangerous from set pieces. Tolbooth did continue to threaten with Sean Keith flashing a strike just wide and Booth unlucky not to score from close range. The equaliser did arrive, after pinball in the Tolbooth box the BSFC player finished well to make it 2-2. The 10 men of Tolbooth couldn't hold on and the away side secured the 3 points with a header from a corner late on. Final score 3-2.

Disappointing defeat, espcially after an excellent start. Credit to BSFC who's heads never dropped and capitalised to secure the 3 points on a day.
