thurcroft top club 3 vs 2 Thrybergh Top Club

After a great performance last week we was unable to name the same side with 3 of the starters unavailable for selection. So we lined up 352 with nick in goal a bk 3 of badger ryan n wayne rougvie n gaz was the wing bks with jonty hammon reynolds the midfied 3, and jonni n pip was the attacking 2. left a bench of craig ian andy and john.

We set off well and took the lead just after 5 minutes when jonni went on an unstopable run cut in the box and smashed it into bottom corner great start to the game. But that's were the great start finished thurcroft took control of the game and was alot quicker all over the pitch and got a deserved equalizer half an our in. They was on top after that but somehow we managed to work a good move and pip finished well to put us bk infront. We managed to keep it that way till ht.

2nd half we never really got going our shape was poor but we was still dangerous on counter and found ourselfs 3 on 1 and e should av made it 3-1 but we messed that chance up and within 5 minutes it was 2-2 from the spot after a blatent foul from hammon. thurcroft took the lead with 5 to go when we lost the ball silly on the half way line which they made no mistake when there lad was put through 1 on 1. We rallied but it was too little too late and thurcroft ran out deserved winners.

overall we was very poor if it wasnt for nick with some class saves could have been more too. Must say though the team spirit today was very good no bitching arguing even though we wasnt playing well put this 1 to bed and go after the 3 points next week.
