After last weeks performance v afp i was quite optimistic going into this 1 but again the squad was down to bones again due to 1 thing or another.
We set off slow and lethargic and was 2nd best all over the field, we conceded a sloppy goal wen smallest lad on field scores from a long throw, 2 behind followed shortly when we lose the ball as well as our shape given them an easy chance to score. we did hit the woodwork a few times and was unlucky not to score.
2nd half after a few harsh words there was an improvement but i must say only slightly !! We was unlucky again hitting the woodwork on more than 1 occasion and there keeper making a couple of class saves.
overall it was a poor game of a div 5 standard not prem and that team we had out today should be beating them but thats how the last 6 months as gone.
Hopefully with the change in management it will bring a change of fortunes with people turning up and putting everything in for the team starting this sunday at home in the cup to bessacarr.
