Thrybergh Top Club 2 vs 4 joker

Well the manager was left with only 14 players to choose from for this round 1 of the mont cup v joker. So with 8 players missing team selection wasn't too hard a decison lining up 352 jamie was in goal with ian brunyee dosh the bk 3 rougvie and wayne was the wing bks jonty dukey n sean was te midfield 3 with coulthard and jonni leading the line. Left a bench of jack ollie jake n alan.

We set off really nervy and seem to show too much respect for joker which allowed them to come onto us in firt 15 mins and there pressure told when they took the lead with a good header. It woke us up a little and we then ad a good 10 mins were we could have done better from a few situations. Joker then double there lead when we fail to deal with a cross leaving there lad with a tap in. We made a change for last 10 mins of 1st half jake replacing rougvie. Going in at half time we still had belief we could get bk into the game

2nd half we set off really well pinning joker bk playing sum good football, 2nd change came when dukey twisted is knee ollie replaced him and moved to right wing bk with jake going to cm. Then disaster happened sean recieved is 2nd yellow for decent so were 2-0 down and down to 10 men character was needed now and you didnt dissapoint jonty fires in a 30 yarder and 5 mins later jake scores a great goal to make the scores equal at 2-2. We had a few good moments with jonni having 1 cleared off the line and phil hitting 1 that there keeper as saved well going into the last ten mins we was tiring and on the counter joker take the lead with a decent finish into the bottom corner. There 4th 5 mins b4 the end should have been a foul on brunyee but the less said about the officials the better.

Overall we showed great spirit and lots of positives to take out of the game today onwards and upwards boys.
