Triangle 1 vs 5 Thrum Hall FC

The snakes went in to the game the day after the Halloween fundraiser some a little hungover some still drunk. Team news included a 1st start for Luke (Lucy) and josh.

The game started well for thrum hall who were keeping the ball well and just like that they were ahead Stanger hoofed the ball down field and the ball fell perfectly to David who scored with ease. The snakes were having plenty of the ball and with Karl and Brad in defence nothing was getting past. In the 24th minute the snakes won a corner and David placed a beautiful ball on the head of Gibby who saw his shot saved on the line and Jesse blades over. As the 29 minute approached another kick from Stanger found Gibby who headed into David’s path 2 nil. The snakes were in control and soon they couldn’t believe what they were seeing as Lucy scored the goal of the season. Half time the message was go out their again it’s 0 - 0 it took the snakes 10 minuets to score again a fantastic goal from Gibby free kick top corner. Robbo came on for his second debut of the season after running back to the snakes and scored a brilliant goal walking threw the defence and past the keeper. As the game was coming to a close a moment of madness from Stanger who forgot werenhe was conceded the softest shittest shot in Sunday league. He won’t forget that moment I promise. 3 big points and we move on to the cup next week.
