Thrum Hall FC 6 vs 2 Barum Top FC Barum Top FC

Sooooo it was a wet Sunday morning and Thrum Hall were looking to entertain Barum Top at home. After the sides last meeting between the two sides the result could of gone either way.

Couple of changes from the week before saw Snakey Casey placed between the sticks, and Coates switching to right back with Stefan dropping in to the middle of the back four and Balika getting a start up top in a front three with Robbo and Gibby.

Game got underway and was a very tease battle in the middle until the deadlook was broken by Hall, a great ball over the top from the lefthand side, delivered by Regan towards the towering Gibby, for him to not even get a touch on the ball for it land in the goal...... 1-0 Hall, Regan 15mins

As the game went on Hall began to dominate in possession and some great from the Old man Hembers saw his ball forward to Regan finished off nicely by the youngster...... 2-0 Hall, Regan 36 mins

With Hall Playing well and confident in possession it was a mater of time something had to go wrong. Coates going for his trademark scissor kick clearence and what can be described has his Chocolate Knee, gives away and forces him to go off injured, Jaiden enters the centre mid and Hembers drops back with Stefan going to right back, at his request.....

As the half can to a close, Casey had the ball at his feet and tried some skill, still pissed he could quiet understand how the opposition where so close to him, loosing the ball for the barum top to hit the post, and have a second chance only for Karl play goal keeper.... PENALTY..... result of the penalty was always going to be a goal.....2-1, 44 mins

Half time came and Hall knew they had to come out strong........ But didn't and conceded a sloppy goal....... 2-2 54 mins

As the game when on Hall became frustrated with chance and the referee....... But a slick move saw Robbo get a goal with his head 3-2 Hall, 60 mins

Barum Top had lost there heads.... And the game opened up for Hall with chance and chance coming..... And it was look before halls Jan (Balika) came up with the goods from a lovly assist from Geordie...... If you didn't know he was out all weekend..... He never said..... 4-2 Hall 73 mins

But Jan wasn't done there, some well worked skill saw him on his way for a second of the game, and with a cool finish he got it, 5-2 Hall 85 mins

Gibby wasn't impressed and wanted a goal, some great work in the middle by robbo and geordie saw a lovly ball passed from robbo to Gibby and with a nice finish saw him get his goal, 6-2 Hall, 86 mins

Great result, keeps Hall in the hunt for promotion, and for some part of Sunday placed us Top of the league, see you all in 2019.
