Tough day from start to finish as we travelled to in-form Larkhall with only 10 outfield players available and 4 key players missing. Actually made it a very competitive first 30mins - but then Kai suffered a bad knee injury which meant Cammy had to take gloves off and go to left back for the last hour or so of the game.
Larkhall opened the scoring with a scrappy goal on 30mins and then grabbed 2 more before halftime as the roof came in.
Although at bare bones by this point I thought we made it too easy at times for a strong Larkhall team.
Only our 3rd League defeat in 18mths - so we won't dwell on it too much. Hopefully have a number of the lads back for next week's Scottish tie.
MOTM - Haris and Ellis worked hard at the back with limited help from midfield on the day - but MOTM goes to Cammy. Terrific attitude when going outfield to play the last hour. Showed a few of his team mates up with his desire and workrate.
